[origin: WO2007042182A1] The invention relates to a heat exchanger having tubes (1) through which a medium flows in one direction and between which are arranged guide devices which are connected to the tubes and around which a further medium flows, wherein the tubes (1) are preferably formed from sheet metal (2) and are preferably provided with indentations, wherein at least one tube section (4-7) is provided with a structure, in particular a microstructure. According to the invention, in order to provide a heat exchanger which is cost-effective to produce, the tube section provided with the structure is connected, in the region of a passage, in a cohesive fashion to a base of a collecting tank.
