[origin: WO2007047541A2] A system and method for selecting media. In one embodiment, the media is selected, based on a desired relationship measure, a user input, relationship data, and the identity of a media file. In another embodiment, the present method and system is implemented onto portable devices, car audio systems, consumer electronics devices, cellular phones or software programs running on personal computers and any other device capable of reproducing media files.
