Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007042730A1] The invention relates to a system (12) for communication between a video image acquisition unit (14) and an on-board computer (16), consisting of means which are used to transmit data by means of carrier current and which comprise a data transmission line (20) forming a circuit for supplying power to the elements of the motor vehicle. The system (12) also comprises first means (22) for forming a set of video data in the form of a first digital signal which is transmitted by a first set of carrier frequencies and second means (24) for forming a set of control data in the form of a second digital signal which is transmitted by a second set of carrier frequencies, the number of carrier frequencies in the first set being greater than the number of carrier frequencies in the second set.
