[origin: EP1938987A2] Method for controlling the transport of ink in an inking system (6) of a printing machine comprises adjusting the temperature of an ink duct roller (8) using a tempering system in the inking system to a lower value than the temperature of an inking system roller (11) and controlling the temperatures of the ink duct roller and the inking system roller depending on the temperature values. An independent claim is also included for an inking system used in the printing machine. Preferred Features: The temperature difference for tempering the ink duct rollers and the inking system rollers is selected depending on the ink consumption of a pressure mold.
