Claimed is a key and cylinder lock system. The key has an identical mirror image cut profile top and bottom along the shaft. The profiles incorporate two or more variations that are transverse to the shaft axis.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Wendeschlüssel für Profilzylinder, der von der Schlüsselspitze ausgehende auf seinen beiden Breitseiten angeordnete Ausnehmungen aufweist, die über zumindest jeweils zwei Variationskanten verfügen, ein System aus derartigen Wendeschlüsseln für ein System aus zugeordneten Profilzylindern sowie Profilzylinder und derartige Wendeschlüssel, insbesondere zur Verwendung in Schließanlagen.
