[origin: EP1939533A2] The door i.e. oven door (10), has inner, center and outer walls (24, 22, 20) formed from glass, and a hinge mechanism (14) attached and designed as a separate structure for components of the door, where one of the walls formed from glass is arranged in a cooking chamber. The center wall is arranged between the outer and inner walls. The walls are arranged parallel to each other, and an outer metal wall is formed to be curved and extends between the inner wall and the outer wall around the hinge mechanism. The metal wall extends to a lip-shaped connecting unit, which holds the inner wall.
