The hood has a collecting channel (10) including a bent part having two opposing end side walls and two opposing longitudinal side walls formed on a single piece of sheet-metal, where the collecting channel is placed on a housing (2) below a filter (6) and collects the liquid e.g. water, emerging from the filter. The collecting channel is a separate part mountable to the housing, where the collecting channel holds the filter. The side walls of the collecting channel are separated by a gap, where one of the side walls is folded to form a double-layer and the other wall covers the gap.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Dunstabzugshaube mit einem Gehäuse (2), einem Filter (6) und einer unterhalb des Filters (6) an dem Gehäuse (2) angeordneten Sammelrinne (10) zur Aufnahme von aus dem Filter (6) austretender Flüssigkeit, wobei die Sammelrinne (10) als ein Blechteil ausgebildet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Sammelrinne (10) als ein Biegeteil ausgebildet ist, bei dem alle Seitenwände (10.1, 10.2, 10.3) aus einem einzigen Stück Blech geformt sind.
