[origin: WO2007042061A1] The invention relates to an applicator (100) for dipping in a cosmetic preparation and for application thereof to the skin, semi-mucous membrane, mucous membrane or short hairs, comprising a holder piece (116) and an applicator piece (120, 200), moulded to the holder piece (116), wherein both the holder piece (116) and the applicator piece (120, 200) are at least partly made from plastic and the plastic of the holder piece (116) is harder than the plastic of the applicator piece (120, 200) and the applicator piece (120, 200) comprises at least one channel (220) running over the total length of the applicator piece (120, 200), which is designed to distribute the cosmetic substance along the longitudinal extent of the applicator piece (120, 200).
