Abstract (en)
[origin: DE202005013880U1] The device has a drive unit, a working spindle, and a clamping flange (14) and a collar nut (16) for clamping a tool (18) e.g. grinding wheel, to the spindle through a hub bore of the tool. Vibration-damping units made of elastic material are arranged between the tool and the nut. The vibration-damping units are provided in the form of a tube piece (26) between the internal face of the hub bore and the external face of a collar region (20) of the collar nut. The tube piece includes an axial projecting length before being assembled, where the length is compressed in the assembled state. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a clamping device for fixing a tool to drive spindle (2) a tool e.g. grinding wheel.
