Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007048572A1] The invention relates to a connection module comprising two terminal parts (6, 7) which engage one inside the other and have outer connections (2, 3, 4, 5) for connecting sensors, actuators or the like. One terminal part (6) has a cable holder (40), which extends in the longitudinal direction of the flat cable (9) and has opposite open ends (44, 45), and the other terminal part (7) bears a set (20a) of contact pins, which cut into the wires (30a, 30b) of the cable (9b) so as to make electrical contact when the terminal parts (6, 7) are fitted. According to the invention, a second set (20b) of contact pins (11b, 12b, 13b) is associated with the holder (40) and lies in the longitudinal direction of the holder (40) at a distance (s) and electrically isolated from the first set (20a) of contact pins (11a, 12a, 13a). The contact pins (11a, 12a, 13a) of the first set (20a) are connected to a first connection (5), and the contact pins (11b, 12b, 13b) of the second set (20b) are connected to a second connection (4). If a first electrical cable (9c) is inserted into the holder (40) via the first open end (45) and a second electrical cable (9b) is inserted into the holder (40) via the second open end (44), the connections are supplied with voltage separately from and independently of one another.
