Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1942008A1] The book transporting machine comprises an endless belt (10.3), on which plates (10.4) are mounted. The books (1) are transported astride these and are removed when moving upwards by swiveling pairs of rails (20.6, 20.7) which support them on each side. They are then moved off by a sliding carriage (20.3).
