Abstract (en)
A hydrocracking system comprising: (a) one or more hydrocracking units, preferably 1 or 2, more preferably 1 unit, adapted to convert hydrocarbon feed material into one or more hydrocarbon products, and (b) one or more hydrocarbon feed material storage facilities upstream of the one or more hydrocarbon units to supply hydrocarbon feed material to the one or more hydrocracking units. Thus, the storage facility or facilities are able to store and hold hydrocarbon feed material until there is a sufficient amount of feed material to be able to supply the hydrocracking unit(s) under favourable start up conditions.
