[origin: WO2007038905A1] A toothbrush comprises a head (3) and a handle (4) where the head (3) is situated substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the handle (4) namely by bristles directed substantially in a right angle to the plane in which the longitudinal axis of the handle (4) lies, whereby a neck (2) is arranged between the handle (4) and the head (3). The neck (2) is arranged in the form of a capital S, whereby the extension of the longitudinal axis of the handle (4) passes at least through the projection of the head (3) into the above said plane of the longitudinal axis of the handle (4) or in its proximity.
