Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2007042060A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for adjusting working rolls to the rolling line, in particular in four-high rolling mills, by means of at least one wedge pair (1, 1') which acts on roll installation parts in the region between rolling stand columns (2, 2') which are spaced apart from one another in parallel and are arranged such that they can be displaced relative to the columns (2, 2') on a horizontal sliding path by means of a toggle lever adjustment. To this end, the wedges (1, 1') of the wedge pair are connected to one another at a fixed spacing. In order to displace them, an arrangement of two toggle levers (4, 5) is provided, of which one lever (4) is supported on one wedge (1) by way of at least one joint (6) and the other lever (5) is supported on the opposite column (2') by way of at least one joint (10) and both levers are connected via an adjustable-length toggle lever joint (7).
