Abstract (en)
In a cigarette manufacture mechanical handling process the cigarettes are shifted transverse to the longitudinal axis and are released from a detent in a first drum to a detent in a second drum. During the transfer from one drum to the next the cigarette is subject to an impulse along the longitudinal axis.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Fördern eines stabförmigen Artikels (61, 62) der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie, wobei der Artikel (61, 62) queraxial gefördert wird und von einer Aufnahme (31) auf einem ersten Förderer (21) an eine Aufnahme (32) eines zweiten Förderers (22) abgegeben wird. Das Verfahren wird dadurch weitergebildet, dass während der Übergabe des Artikels (61, 62) zum Übergabezeitpunkt der Artikel (61, 62) mittels eines Bewegungsimpulses in längsaxialer Richtung bewegt wird.
