Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1944397A1] The mechanism (M) has oscillating levers (1) actuating a harness and pivotably mounted on a common shaft (2). The levers are provided with cam followers cooperated with cams. The shaft is displaced with respect to a frame (3) along a direction (D) of radial movement of the followers with respect to the cams to decouple the cams. A guiding post (6) extends along the direction and guides in translation the shaft along the direction. The post is fixed with respect to the frame and received in a housing (23) e.g. cylindrical hole, of the shaft with respect to a longitudinal axis (X2) of shaft. An independent claim is also included for a method for decoupling cams with respect to cam followers of a cam mechanism.
