Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1944551A1] The method involves arranging a heating coil (32) in a glow tube (24), and fixing the glow tube in a housing. The heating coil is subjected to a thermal treatment such that an aluminum oxide coating is formed on an upper surface of the heating coil. The coating is formed as an oxide layer of alloy constituents of the heating coil based on the thermal treatment of the heating coil. The heating coil is made of aluminum-alloy material.
