Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007039088A1] The invention concerns a shoe, particularly an athletic shoe, comprising a shoe upper part (1) and a sole (2). At least one cushioning element (3) is placed above or inside the sole (2). This cushioning element (3) is formed from a number of webs (4) that form cavities (5) extending horizontally and transversally to the longitudinal direction (L) of the shoe. In order to improve the spring and cushioning behavior as well as the pronation and supination behavior of the shoe, the invention provides that the shoe has a hind foot or heel shell (12) to which the at least one portion of the webs (4) directly adjoin.
