[origin: WO2007054042A1] The invention provides a means of preventing a scroll spring from being pulled out of a housing, the means having a strip-like scroll spring which is mounted in a wound-up state in the housing and can be pulled out of an outlet gap of the housing, which has internal dimensions corresponding to the width of the scroll spring, being straightforward and cost-effective to produce and ensuring functional capability after the scroll spring has been pulled all the way out, this being achieved in that the scroll spring (1) has a recess (2) in the region of its end, a latching protuberance (4; 14) is arranged in the housing (3) and the scroll spring (1) slides, over the extent of its functional length, over a sliding surface (5; 15) of this latching protuberance (4; 14), which engages in the recess (2) in the region of the end of the scroll spring (1) and prevents the scroll spring (1) from being pulled all the way out of the housing (3).
