Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2007053109A1] The present invention relates to a frame construction for an object, which has at least one wheel, and a method for manufacturing of such a frame construction. The frame construction comprises at least two frame elements (1-8), which are connected to each other by means of a connection. At least one of the frame elements (1-8) is manufactured by means of a hydro-forming process of an austenitic stainless steel. Since austenitic stainless steel has very good strain hardening properties such a frame element can be made with very thin walls and very light.
