[origin: WO2007058575A1] The present invention relates to a method to connect two profiles of steel, preferably vertical steel joists and horizontal beams, wherein a especially formed fitting is brought towards the end or bottom of a first steel profile, passing edge reinforcements (a') at the profile and to a position where it touch bottom at the first steel profile and to be fixed there. The method is characterized in that the other end of the fitting is first fixed at an other steel profile after that a proper length adjustment has been carried out by telescopic functioning between fitting and profile, alternatively that the other end of the fitting first is fixed at the other steel profile prior to be brought to the end or to the bottom of the first steel profile (Ia) to be fixed at that position after carrying out a possible length adjustment by the telescopic functioning between the fitting and the profile.
