[origin: DE102005053946B3] The component (1) part has a two-dimensional mat-like fibrous web component (2) comprising opposite surfaces (4, 5). A thin spray coating (3) is sprayed on one of the surfaces of the component (2), and is made of a thermosetting material e.g. polyurethane and thermoplastic. The thin spray coating has mass per unit area of 50 to 1200 gram per meter square and the thickness of the web component ranges from 5 to 30 millimeter. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a component part for sound insulation in a motor vehicle.
