Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1946887A1] The tool (10) has two casters (60) made of an electrically conducting material and mounted on a rotational axis (26) of a front driven pulley (12). The casters have external diameter larger than that of the pulley to define a machining side between continuous working abrasive belt (15) and a machining surface. Terminals of an electric energy source are connected to each caster and a workpiece. A detection unit detects a passage of electric current between each caster and the workpiece and is connected to a control unit for controlling a position and trajectory of the tool.
