Abstract (en)

The invention provides a method with fewer distribution of the amount of amplification among plural tags when the plural tags are used for multiplex detection using the tag. A method for amplifying plural nucleic acid fragments, the nucleic acid fragment including one nucleic acid sequence for discrimination selected from a first group consisting of first to n-th nucleic acid sequences for discrimination and one nucleic acid sequence for amplification selected from a second group consisting of first to m-th nucleic acid sequences for amplification, the method including amplifying a mixture of nucleic acid fragments containing plural kinds of the nucleic acid fragments under a condition capable of amplifying the nucleic acids using, as primers, at least a part of the sequences of all the nucleic acid sequences for discrimination that may exist in the mixture of the nucleic acid fragments, and sequences complementary to at least a part of the sequences of the nucleic acid sequences for amplification or sequences at the same strand side as the nucleic acid sequences for amplification, wherein n is an integer of 2 or more, the first to n-th nucleic acid sequences for discrimination contained in the first group have different nucleotide sequences from one another, m is an integer from 1 or more to n or less, and the first to m-th nucleic acid sequences for amplification contained in the second group have different nucleotide sequences from one another.
