[origin: WO2007056783A1] Method of hot waxing ski coatings (6) with ski wax, wherein the ski coating (6) located on a ski (4) is heated, together therewith, to an object temperature which is elevated in relation to the ambient temperature, and the ski wax is applied to the coating, and wherein the ski (6) as a whole is kept at the elevated object temperature, which is greater than or equal to 40°C, for a period of time of more than 15 minutes prior to and/or following the operation of applying the ski wax.
