[origin: WO2007057607A1] The invention relates to a display device for a motor vehicle comprising a light source (3, 4) for generating displayable information and a blade (1) reflecting said information towards a vehicle driver. Said blade (1) is positioned in such a way that the light source (3, 4) displays the information in the form of a two-part virtual image (6, 7), wherein the top image (6) appears just above the lower limit (14) of a field of vision on the space in front of the vehicle and the image lower part (7) appears just under said lower limit (14) of the field of vision on the space in front of the vehicle.
