Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007054155A1] The invention relates to a vacuum pump comprising a vane, a pump housing, and a rotor which is rotatably mounted in the housing. The vane is displaceably mounted in the rotor, and the vane tips radially protrude out of the rotor on both sides and lie on the inner peripheral surface of the pump housing, the vane defining a suction chamber and a pressure chamber. The vane consists of a polyamide.
