Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007054519A1] The invention describes a sensor, a sensor component and a method for producing a sensor, in which sensors for measuring absolute values, in particular, can be introduced into cost-effective and technically simple plastic housings of conventional design without the long-term stability of absolute measured values which are provided by such sensors suffering. In particular, parameter drifts and offsets in the parameters are induced by arranging a sensor element above an application-specific semiconductor element which evaluates the signals from said sensor element and is connected to the latter by means of a flip-chip connection. Mechanical and thermal stresses and moisture are prevented and compensated for by introducing a suitable amount of gel into the plastic housing.
