Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007057305A1] The invention relates to a method for transferring portable goods in open-cast mining between a first moving transfer apparatus (4) and a second moving transfer apparatus (5), with a base station (10), which is arranged on the second moving transfer apparatus, transmitting a base signal which is received by a multiplicity of transponders (13) which are each associated with reference points (9) of the first moving transfer apparatus (4), with the transponders (13) sending transponder signals to the base station (10). The relative position, the relative movement direction and/or the relative speed of the two transfer apparatuses (4, 5) with respect to one another are determined with the aid of the signal delay times, and the movement of at least one of these two transfer apparatus (4, 5), is determined on the basis of these control signals, preferably in a control apparatus (12). The invention allows safe, reliable and efficient transfer of portable goods in open-cast mining, especially in adverse conditions.
