Abstract (en)
The centrifuge has a rotary drum and a screw rotated to the rotary drum at a rotational speed difference and arranged in the rotary drum. The screw has a helical screw blade (3) arranged at an outer circumference of a screw body. A pressure plate is arranged on the screw body and coincides in a region with the screw blade so that a wedge area (13) is formed between the pressure plate and the screw blade. A window-like recess (11) is formed in the screw blade in the wedge area to ensure flow of material through the screw blade.

Eine Vollmantel-Schneckenzentrifuge mit einer drehbaren Trommel (1) und einer in der Trommel (1) angeordneten, mit einer Differenzdrehzahl zur Trommel (1) drehbaren Schnecke (2), die wenigstens ein wendelartiges Schneckenblatt (3) aufweist, das am Außenumfang eines Schneckenkörpers (4) angeordnet ist, und mit wenigstens einer auf dem Schneckenkörper (4) angeordneten Stauscheibe (9), die in wenigstens einem Bereich (19,18) mit dem Schneckenblatt (3) zusammentrifft, so dass wenigstens ein keilförmiger Bereich (10,13) zwischen der Stauscheibe (9) und dem Schneckenblatt (3) ausgebildet ist, wobei in dem wenigstens einen Keilbereich (10) wenigstens ein fensterartiger Durchbruch (11) in dem Schneckenblatt (3) ausgebildet ist, der einen Durchfluss von Material durch das Schneckenblatt (3) ermöglicht.
