The system has a pressing and transport device (3), in which plates (2) are pressed against each other for partial curing of glue and are simultaneously transported in a longitudinal direction of a wood profile (1). The device has pressing units (6) successively arranged in the longitudinal direction of the wood profile and connected with each other by a circumferential driving element (7). The pressing units are movable between an open position, in which it freely provides the wood profile, and a close position, in which it compresses the wood profile transverse to the longitudinal direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a wood profile.

Die Erfindung beschreibt eine Anlage zum Herstellen eines Holzprofils (1) und ein Holzprofil (1) aus brett- oder leistenförmigen Lamellen (2). Die Anlage weist eine Press- und Transportvorrichtung (3) auf in welcher die an ihren Kontaktflächen mit Leim versehenen, zum genannten Holzprofil (1) zusammengefügten Lamellen (2) bis zur mindestens teilweisen Aushärtung des Leims gegeneinander gepresst und gleichzeitig in Längsrichtung des Holzprofils (1) transportiert werden. Die Press- und Transportvorrichtung (3) umfasst in Längsrichtung des Holzprofils (1) nacheinander angeordnete Presseinheiten (6), die durch umlaufende Zugmittel (7) miteinander verbunden sind und zwischen einer offenen Position, in der sie das Holzprofil (1) frei geben und einer geschlossenen Position, in der sie das Holzprofil (1) quer zu seiner Längsrichtung zusammenpressen, bewegbar sind.
