[origin: EP1950143A1] The present invention relates to a tamper-evident ring (4) comprising an upper ring (20) and at least two adjacent segments (30) connected to the upper ring (20) by permanent connection means (31), in which the permanent connection means (31) are disposed at the ends (33, 34) closest to one another of the at least two adjacent segments (30); as an alternative, the present invention relates to the above-described tamper-evident ring (4) in which at least one support tongue of a first type (41) and at least one support tongue of a second type (42) alternate with one another about the circumference of the upper ring (20).
