[origin: EP1950361A1] The edge board for a scaffold (10) has a hollow profile of the board unit (31) closed on its face end by an end cap (137) which projects beyond the face end and has a cover section (140), preferably of plastic, which covers the end edges. A fastening component is connected in one piece or in a number of pieces to the cover section and fits into the hollow profile and is connected in a fixed manner to this and/or to a fitting unit which has a fastening section which fits into the hollow profile and is connected in a fixed manner to the hollow profile via fastening means (43). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a scaffold which includes the proposed edge board; and (2) a method for producing an edge board for a scaffold.
