[origin: DE102005056080A1] The probe (6) is introduced into the body (4). It has an x-ray source (8) at its far end. This radiates x-rays (14) into a zone (18) outside the probe. Markers (36) are visible in the image generated by a display unit. These are arranged in or at the probe, in a known spatial relationship to the irradiation zone (18). To adjust the zone of irradiation, a shield (10) is adjustable relative to the source (8). An optical observation unit is also integrated into the probe. Reproduced images includes lines of equal x-ray dosage. An independent claim is included for the corresponding method.
