[origin: CA2629371A1] The present invention relates to a catalyst ink for producing membrane- electrode assemblies for polymer electrolyte fuel cells which comprises, in addition to the typical components - catalyst material, acidic ionomer, and solvent - an additive component comprising at least one low molecular mass organic compound containing at least two basic nitrogen atoms. The invention further relates to processes for producing such catalyst inks and also to their use for producing membrane-electrode assemblies for polymer electrolyte fuel cells.
