The cushion has column-like projections (3) arranged and projected from a center plate (1) depending on two sides of the plate, where the cushion is made of a foam material. The plate has openings (2) through which the column-like projections are pushed. The projections have slots that are held in an area of the openings. The plate is made of a hard foam material to form projections, which are designed as a cuboid, cylinder or ball.

Bei einer aus Schaumstoff bestehenden Polsterung für Sitz- und/oder Liegemöbel, bei der die Liegeeigenschaft in verschiedenen Bereichen veränderbar ist, sind von einer mittleren Platte (1) ausgehend nach beiden Seiten ragende säulenartige Vorsprünge (3) angeordnet. Dadurch wird der Federungskomfort der Polsterung verbessert.
