Abstract (en)
A card shuffling apparatus includes an indexed wheel (14) having a plurality of card compartments and a card push arm (18), and being controllable by a control circuit and a motor (141) to rotate to a randomly determined position; a card input mechanism (11) for feeding cards of an unshuffled deck one by one into the card compartments of the indexed wheel (14); and a card output mechanism (17) with which cards pushed out of the indexed wheel (14) by the second card push arm (114) are collected and then sent out one by one until a predetermined number of cards has been sent out.
