Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1952957A1] The panel saw (10) has a support wall (14) for suspension of a workpiece and a sawing bar (23) displaceable along the support wall. A sawing unit (25) is displaceably supported along the sawing bar, and a workpiece holder (19) is arranged at a lower end of the support wall and has a workpiece support, on which the workpiece is inserted. The workpiece support is manufactured under utilization of glass, ceramic and stone materials. The support is designed as a glass plate and has a part manufactured from a plastic material.
