Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1953113A2] The method involves movably and vertically supporting and setting driving rails (3a, 3b) at lifting columns (1a-1d), by form-fitting engagement in vertical retaining elements (5a, 5b) at a desired level. Ratchets (6a, 6b) are directly or indirectly supported at the driving rails in the retaining elements. The ratchets are released or activated by snap movement of the ratchets during setting of the driving rails. The snap movement is monitored and a stroke movement is stopped after snapping the ratchets. The setting of the driving rails is triggered.
