Abstract (en)
The device has a set of capacitive detectors connected to an electronic management unit (5). The unit is connected to a control unit of a domestic heating appliance (1) for controlling heating power of the appliance based on characteristics of a detected object e.g. towel. The management unit is connected to a display unit (6) i.e. LCD, where the display unit displays the characteristics of the detected object or absence of the detected object. The management unit has a microcontroller that controls the display unit for indicating the absence of the detected object.

Un dispositif de détection et/ou de commande pour appareil de chauffage domestique (1) permet de détecter la présence d'un objet posé sur l'appareil de chauffage domestique (1). Le dispositif de détection comporte des détecteurs capacitifs reliés à un moyen (5) électronique de gestion.
