[origin: EP1953296A1] The method involves guiding a filter (4) that does not cover an inserted fibrous material suspension before its guidance over blocks (12) arranged at a drainage box (11) through an effective region (W) of a suction shoe (16). The suction shoe is adjustably arranged at the effective region in its position (D). Carried substances are evacuated from the filter by the suction shoe as a result of controlled and regulated suction of the effective region. The evacuated substances and the air carried through the filter are removed by the suction shoe.
