[origin: EP1953491A1] The fire arm (10) has a run (30) supported relative to a shaft (11) in or on a linear guide (20) in an axial displaceable manner, and a cartridge bearing for retaining a cartridge formed in the run. A closing device (40) has a closure head (41) for closing the cartridge bearing, where the closure head is axially fixable in an end (32) of the run during closing of the fire arm. A locking mechanism (80) locks the fire arm in a closure condition. The linear guide has a guide rod (21) coupled or decoupled with the run, where the guide rod is guided within the shaft.
