[origin: WO2007045425A1] The invention relates to an article (1) having at least one visible surface (11), in which at least part of the surface comprises a pattern (2) that provides a contrast in relation to the surface of the article. The aforementioned pattern (2) comprises a plurality of strands (21) which are distributed over the entire pattern, each strand (21) having an average section of between 0.003 and 0.06 mm<SUP>2</SUP>. The invention also relates to a moulding method which is used to form a high contrast pattern on a surface of an article that can be moulded in a mould, said method consisting in forming a plurality of cavities having an average section of between 0.003 and 0.06 mm<SUP>2</SUP> at the location of the pattern on the surface of the mould.
