Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2007045422A1] The invention relates to a weight compensation device (6) for a lifting gate (1), comprising a spring-loaded element (61) and a tractive element (62), which can be wound onto or unwound from a winding unit in such a way that the spring-loaded element (61) achieves its greatest pre-tension when the door leaf (2) is in the closed position and is essentially tension-free when the door leaf (2) is in the open position. According to the invention, the tractive element (62) is narrower at the end facing the winding device than at the end facing the spring-loaded element (61) and the winding device comprises a guide unit (63), which is used to wind the tractive element (62) in such a way that the wound layers lie adjacent to one another without making contact. To achieve this, the guide surfaces around the perimeter of the guide unit (63) have a continuously increasing radius in the winding direction. This enables the provision of a weight compensation device (6) that achieves the torques required for effective weight compensation by means of a simple construction. The invention also relates to a lifting gate (1) that is equipped with a weight compensation device (6) of this type.
