The device has a laminar substrate carrier (13) for releasing water to a vegetation substrate, where the substrate carrier is supplied with the water over a capillary irrigation structure (14). The substrate carrier and the irrigation structure are combined to a uniformly manageable irrigation mat (12). The irrigation mat is formed with a filter function above the vegetation substrate, and consists of weather-proof material. The carrier consists of a textile material.

Bei einer Bewässerungseinrichtung zur kapillaren Bewässerung von Vegetationssubstrat (16), mit einem flächenförmigen, an das Vegetationssubstrat (16) wasserabgebenden Substratträger (13), der über eine kapillare Bewässerungsstruktur (14) mit Wasser versorgbar ist, sind Substratträger (13) und Bewässerungsstruktur (14) als Baueinheit zu einer einheitlich handhabbaren Bewässerungsmatte (12) zusammengefasst.
