Abstract (en)

The present invention provides a childcare apparatus in which a movable portion 30 can reciprocate smoothly on a holding portion 20, and which enables the restriction occurrence of noise. Also the present invention provides a childcare apparatus which can prevent a carrying load from the movable portion 30 from being applied directly to the holding portion 20 during the stop of the movable portion, and in which the movable portion will not move inadvertently regardless of the operator's intention. The holding portion 20 is provided above legs 13 and the movable portion 30 is substantially horizontally mounted on the holding portion 20 such that it can reciprocate on the holding portion 20, and is provided below a childcare apparatus body 11, and has mating members 32 at its bottom portion. A locking portion 40 is provided on the holding portion 20 and includes engagement members 41 each adapted to engage with and lift each corresponding mating member 32, an operational lever 42, and link mechanisms 45 each arranged between each engagement member 41 and the operational lever 42. Horizontal movement of the operational lever 42 causes vertical movement of each engagement member 41 via each corresponding link mechanism 45.
