Abstract (en)
The railcar (A) has a motorized intermediate trailer (4) provided between two driving trailers (2). Traction chains (8) are disposed in the driving trailers and the intermediate trailer. A motored bogie (6) is disposed under an end of the intermediate trailer and the driving trailers. A driving cab is located at a free end of the driving trailers, where the free end is rest on the motored bogie composed of two powered axles (5). The powered axles are located in the end of the intermediate trailer.

Cette automotrice est du type comprenant : - des voitures (2, 3, 4,), incluant deux voitures pilotes (2) et des voitures intermédiaires (3, 4,) ; - des bogies porteurs (7), des bogies moteurs (6) comprenant au moins un essieu moteur (5) ; - des chaînes de traction (8) aptes à alimenter en énergie les moteurs des bogies moteurs (6). Selon un aspect de l'invention, toutes les voitures (2, 3, 4) possèdent des compartiments voyageurs (10), l'automotrice est entièrement articulée, les chaînes de traction (8) sont disposées dans trois voitures (2, 4) et un bogie moteur (6) est disposé sous au moins une extrémité de chaque voiture (2, 4) recevant une chaîne de traction (8).
