Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1956174A1] The rail has a bridge section (30) connecting two leg sections (10, 20), and the section (20) comprising a profile element (21) which is essentially U-shaped in cross-section. The profile element serves in an installation position in a groove (N) formed between two surface elements (101, 102) as a fastening element for fastening a multiple glazing unit to a support structure. The surface elements are spaced from each other, and the U-shaped profile element is connected with the rail. The profile element is provided with a predetermined breaking point. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a multiple glazing unit.
