Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1956558A2] The system has a central computer (4) establishing a connection to a diagnostic memory of vehicle e.g. bus, electronics by automatic calls. The central computer has a local communication interface for a handheld device (3) e.g. mobile telephone. Data is transmitted via the interface without local intermediate memory by a unique transmission process in real time. The central computer automatically evaluates the transferred data, and transmits an alarm message to a technical centre (5) during exceeding of pre-programmed limit values.
