[origin: FR2893969A1] The device has a body comprising a head (4) terminated by an elastic retaining tab (5) extending along the plane of an opening element (3). The tab elastically cooperates with a finger (31) when the opening element is in closed position so as to allow the retention of the opening element. The finger terminates a tentative spacing device (20) that is temporarily anchored in a wall (22) of a fixed element (23) of a motor vehicle body by a mounting plate (21). An independent claim is also included for a tentative spacing device.
